I use strategy, I send out whatever team mate has the highest advantage. For example, here is my line up for fighting Shauntal:
Chandelure: I send out Seismitoad with Mystic Water, use Surf
Jellicent: I send out my Serperior with Miracle Seed, use Leaf Blade
Gollurk: (See above)
Coffagrigus: I send out my Bisharp, Shadow Claw
DONE!
